Minarik Drives DC240-36/48-4Q

The DC-4Q series features capabilities for four quadrant control, enabling fast reversing and braking through simple switch closures to the drive without requiring bulky contactors or braking resistors. With a continuous current rating of up to 100 Amps and a peak current of 240 Amps for one minute, these drives are designed to operate efficiently even as battery levels decrease. A sleep mode function enhances battery longevity during inactivity.

These drives utilize a 1.01 form factor, resulting in clean DC output for quiet motor operation at a PWM frequency of 16 kHz. The DC-4Q series is also microprocessor-based, allowing for adjustments in IR Compensation, motoring current limit, regenerative current limit, maximum speeds, and acceleration/deceleration times to meet specific application requirements. Additionally, built-in power and fault indicators provide real-time feedback on operational status, including current limit, under voltage, overheat, and short circuit conditions.

Available for both 36V and 48V systems, the DC-4Q series eliminates the need for jumpers or switches for voltage selection, simplifying installation. Optional accessories, such as a fan kit, can be added to increase the continuous current rating to 160 Amps, while a precharge circuit offers soft starts and protection against runaway conditions.
