Minarik Drives RD16U
RD1 Series Drive
Product Description
The RD1 Series RD16U Drive is tailored for variable speed control in cost-sensitive applications, specifically designed to operate DC Brush-type motors within a range of 1/8 to 1/4 HP. Its lightweight construction and compact design facilitate integration into systems where space is limited, making it especially suitable for original equipment manufacturers.
This drive features a panel mount design, enabling installation through doors or panels, while its 1.37 form factor contributes to a compact profile. The device ensures 3% base speed regulation and includes a pre-mounted potentiometer, which not only streamlines wiring but also reduces overall package size. Additionally, the built-in power switch, incorporated within the potentiometer, provides convenient control over AC power.
Operating on an input voltage of 115 VAC, the RD16U delivers an output voltage ranging from 0 to 90 VDC, with a continuous current capacity of 3 Amps. This SCR technology-based drive is housed in a chassis enclosure, ensuring reliable performance without the need for additional components.
