The EDS-208A Series 8-port industrial Ethernet switches are designed to meet the demands of harsh industrial environments. These switches support IEEE 802.3 and IEEE 802.3u/x standards, providing 10/100M full/half-duplex, MDI/MDI-X auto-sensing capabilities. With redundant 12/24/48 VDC power inputs, the EDS-208A Series ensures reliable operation by allowing simultaneous connection to live DC power sources.

Built with an IP30 aluminum housing, these switches are rugged and suitable for hazardous locations (Class 1 Div. 2/ATEX Zone 2), transportation (NEMA TS2/EN 50121-4), and maritime environments (DNV/LR/ABS/NK). The wide operating temperature range of -40 to 75°C (-T models) ensures functionality in extreme conditions. All models undergo a 100% burn-in test to guarantee performance in industrial automation control applications.

The EDS-208A switches feature DIP switches for enabling or disabling broadcast storm protection, offering additional flexibility for various industrial applications. Compliance with FCC, UL, and CE standards further ensures the reliability and safety of these switches.
