Product Description
This 4 pole female XLR receptacle is engineered with a separate ground contact that connects to both the mating connector shell and the front panel, ensuring optimal grounding. It is designed for vertical PCB mounting, making it suitable for a variety of applications.
Distinct from the A series, this component includes a metal mounting flange that provides continuous circumferential ground contact to the chassis, enhancing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) performance.
It complies with the IEC 61076-2-103 standard and offers a protection class of IP 40. The receptacle is constructed to withstand a temperature range of -30 °C to +80 °C and meets flammability standards of UL 94 HB. Its electrical specifications include a rated current of 6 A per contact and a dielectric strength of 1.5 kVdc.
With an insertion force of no more than 20 N and a lifespan exceeding 1000 mating cycles, this receptacle provides reliable performance over time. The materials used include bronze contacts, a polyamide insert, and a zinc diecast ring, ensuring durability and functionality.
