The Omron CS1D Dual-Redundant PLC System is designed for never-fail control, ensuring continuous operation with minimal downtime. This advanced system builds on the proven CS1 architecture, incorporating dual-redundancy options to enhance reliability. The CS1D features duplex CPUs that are continuously cross-checked for errors, eliminating the need for special user-written programs. For increased system availability, dual power supply units can be utilized. The system supports hot swapping of CPUs, power supplies, and I/O units, allowing for maintenance with little or no process interruption.
Analog I/O Units
The CS1W-AD/DA/MAD series offers versatile analog I/O solutions. The Analog Input Units convert analog input signals into binary data, supporting up to 16 inputs per unit with features like line disconnection detection, peak value holding, and mean value processing. The Analog Output Units convert binary data into analog output signals, with up to 8 outputs per unit and an output hold function. The Analog I/O Units combine both input and output capabilities, featuring ratio conversion functions and supporting up to 4 inputs and 4 outputs per unit.
