The Omron E2FM Inductive Proximity Sensor is designed for use in harsh environments, offering exceptional durability and reliability. This sensor features a one-piece, completely stainless-steel housing with a face thickness of 0.8 mm, making it highly resistant to wear and impact. The E2FM series is immune to aluminum chips and other spatter, reducing false signals and minimizing the need for frequent cleaning.
With a sensing distance of 5 mm and a shielded design, this sensor is suitable for embedding installation in metal fittings. It operates on a 12 to 24 VDC supply voltage and features a 2-wire DC NO output. The abrasion-resistant and flame-retardant PVC cable ensures long-lasting performance in demanding applications.
The E2FM sensor is certified for chemical resistance by Ecolab Europe, making it suitable for use in environments where exposure to chemicals such as sodium chloride, gasoline, dilute sodium hydroxide, and dilute hydrochloric acid is common. This sensor is not suitable for explosion-proof applications.
