The Omron E3ZM-V81 2M Color Mark Detection Compact Photoelectric Sensor is designed for high-precision color mark detection in various industrial applications. Featuring a diffuse-reflective sensing method, this sensor offers a sensing distance of 10 to 14 mm with a spot size of 2 mm diameter max. The sensor utilizes a white LED light source (450 to 700 nm) to ensure accurate detection of color marks.

This pre-wired model with a 2-meter cable is equipped with a PNP open collector output, capable of handling up to 30 VDC and 100 mA. The sensor includes multiple protective circuits such as output short-cut protection, output reverse polarity protection, and power supply reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.

The E3ZM-V81 features a fast response time of 50 µs max for both operation and reset, making it suitable for high-speed applications. Sensitivity is easily set using the teaching method, and the sensor is designed to operate in a wide range of ambient conditions, including temperatures from -40 to 60 ℃ and humidity levels from 35 to 85%.

Constructed with durable materials such as SUS316L for the case, methacrylate resin for the lens, and polyether sulfone for the display, the sensor is built to withstand harsh industrial environments. It also boasts a high degree of protection with IEC IP67 and IP69K (DIN40050-9) ratings, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress.
