The Omron TL-W5F1 5M Flat Inductive Proximity Sensor is a high-performance sensor designed for precise and reliable detection of ferrous metals in industrial environments. With a compact sensing head size of 24.9 mm x 10 mm x 50 mm, this square type, shielded sensor is ideal for applications where space is limited. The sensor operates on a DC 3-wire system and features a PNP, normally open (NO) output configuration.
Featuring a sensing distance of 5 mm ±10% and a setting distance of 0 to 4 mm, the TL-W5F1 ensures accurate detection with minimal differential distance. The sensor is equipped with a red detection indicator for easy status monitoring. It offers robust protection with reverse polarity protection and a surge suppressor, ensuring reliable operation in harsh conditions.
Designed to withstand challenging environments, the TL-W5F1 operates within a wide temperature range of -25 to 70°C and humidity range of 35 to 95%. The sensor is built to endure mechanical stress with vibration resistance (10 to 55 Hz, 1.5 mm double amplitude) and shock resistance (500 m/s²). The sensor's housing is made of durable aluminum diecast, and the sensing surface is constructed from heat-resistant ABS resin, providing IP67 protection and oil-proof performance.
