Product Description
The RJ45 Cat 5e UTP Modular Plug is designed for terminating 4-pair, 24-26 AWG, 100 ohm, unshielded twisted pair cables. It features a maximum conductor insulation diameter of 0.040 inches (1.02mm) and is constructed from durable polycarbonate material. With a performance rating that meets Category 5e specifications, this plug is suitable for various networking applications.
Rated for 2500 mating cycles, the plug also incorporates a patented tangle-free latch that enhances usability by preventing snags during connection. Its innovative design eliminates the need for a load bar during termination, while a guide ramp simplifies the conductor insertion process. This product meets all applicable ANSI/TIA-968-A requirements and exceeds IEC 60603-7 specifications, ensuring compliance with standards such as IEEE 802.3af and IEEE 802.3at for Power over Ethernet (PoE) applications. The modular plug is RoHS compliant and has an IP20 rating, making it suitable for various environments.
Each package contains 10 modular plugs, facilitating bulk installations or replacements.
