The use of 28 AWG cable ensures that this patch cord has a small diameter, making it easy to install and work with. The patented tangle free latch prevents snags and provides easy release saving time on frequent moves, adds, and changes. The patch cord is 3 feet in length, 0.150 inches (3.8mm) nominal in diameter, and off white.

The conductors are twisted in pairs and separated by a quadrant separator. All four pairs are surrounded by solid foil tape and a flame retardant jacket. The tape suppresses alien crosstalk and allows 10 Gb/s transmission. The patented tangle-free latch prevents snags and provides easy release to provide reliability. This patch cord is 1 meter and available in violet.

The CD-2001-6-SET Crimp Dies provide circumferential crimp results in terminations with premium electrical and mechanical performance. Color-coded to provide easy matching on connectors while an embossed die index number on the connector barrels provide post crimp inspection. The part number is permanently marked on the crimping die for easy identification and used with the CT-3001/ST and CT-3001/CCP series tools.
