The Retroreflective sensor is engineered for standard applications, offering precise object detection through its front optical interface. This sensor operates effectively over a distance of 7.6 m, utilizing modulated visible red light at a wavelength of 660 nm. Its compact design allows it to fit into various installations while maintaining high performance.
In TEACH mode, the effective detection range reaches 3.5 m, while at switch position 'N', it extends to 5.7 m. The sensor features a polarization filter and achieves a maximum angle deviation of ±1°, ensuring reliable detection even in challenging conditions.
With a degree of protection rated at IP67 / IP69K, the sensor is suitable for harsh environments. It operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 60 °C and can withstand storage temperatures from -40 to 75 °C. The housing is constructed from glass-fiber-reinforced PC, and the optical face is made of PMMA, contributing to its durability.
