Triangulation Sensor with Background Suppression
The triangulation sensor is designed for standard applications with background suppression, ensuring reliable performance. With a detection range adjustable from 15 mm to 150 mm, this sensor effectively detects objects using a modulated visible red light source at a wavelength of 660 nm. The Designation Code for this model is ML6-8-H-150-RT/59/65a/115/136.
It operates within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 60 °C and is housed in a robust enclosure rated IP67/IP69K, making it suitable for various environmental conditions. The sensor features two push-pull outputs that are short-circuit proof and reverse polarity protected, with a maximum switching current of 100 mA and a voltage drop of ≤ 2.5 V DC. The response time is efficient at 500 µs, allowing for quick detection and processing.
The operating voltage ranges from 10 to 30 V DC, with a no-load supply current of less than 25 mA. Additionally, an LED indicator provides visual feedback on operation status, while the sensing range can be adjusted easily using the integrated control element.
