The triangulation sensor with background suppression is designed for standard applications and features a miniature form factor. It offers an adjustable detection range from 10 mm to 80 mm, with a maximum detection range of 100 mm. The sensor utilizes modulated visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm, ensuring precise object detection.

With a light spot diameter of approximately 6 mm at 80 mm and an opening angle of around 5°, this sensor effectively differentiates between light and dark surfaces, with a black-white difference detection capability of approximately 15 mm. The ambient light limit for continuous light is 40,000 Lux, while for modulated light, it is 5,000 Lux.

For operational indicators, it includes a green LED that indicates power status, a pulsing green LED for undervoltage, and a flashing green LED for short circuits. An additional yellow LED signifies object detection. The sensor operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30 V DC and has a no-load supply current of less than 25 mA.

Equipped with a push-pull output that is short-circuit and reverse polarity protected, the sensor supports a maximum switching voltage of 30 V DC and a current of up to 100 mA. It has a rapid response time of 0.5 ms and can switch at a frequency of up to 1000 Hz.
