Product Description
The Pepperl+Fuchs Safety Light Curtain SLC14-450 offers advanced protection with a sensing range of up to 5 meters and a high resolution of 14mm, making it ideal for finger protection applications. Designed to meet the stringent requirements of IEC/EN 61496-1 (Type 4), this light curtain ensures reliable self-monitoring and safety.
Featuring a protective field height of up to 1800mm, the SLC14-450 is equipped with master/slave detection and plug-and-play functionality for easy installation and setup. The integrated function display and pre-fault indication provide clear operational status and early warning of potential issues, enhancing overall safety and maintenance efficiency.
The safety outputs are designed in a potential-separated semiconductor configuration or with monitored, compelled connection NC-contacts, ensuring robust and reliable performance. An optional relay monitor (Option 129) is available for added flexibility.
With a degree of protection rated at IP67, the SLC14-450 is suitable for use in harsh industrial environments, providing excellent resistance to dust and water ingress. The start/restart disable feature further enhances operational safety by preventing accidental restarts.
