Product Description

Lifecycle Status:Successor:

The MODBUS TCP/RTU Interface Converter 1E/1DB9 is designed to convert serially based Modbus RTU or ASCII protocols into Modbus TCP. It supports a variety of serial client and server devices, featuring an RJ45 port and a D-SUB 9 port for connectivity.

This device operates with a supply voltage range of 10.8 V DC to 30 V DC and has a typical current consumption of 48 mA at 24 V DC, with a maximum consumption of 60 mA. The interface supports a data transmission speed of up to 230.4 Kbps and can manage up to 96 Modbus/TCP clients.

It has been constructed to withstand ambient temperatures from -40 °C to 70 °C, and its compact design measures 22.5 mm in width, 99 mm in height, and 115 mm in depth. The housing is made of PA 6.6 material, ensuring durability in industrial environments. Additionally, it conforms to several international standards, including UL 61010-1 and EMC Directive 2014/30/EU.

For application in industrial settings, the device is classified as EMC class A, and it is not permitted for use in potentially explosive areas in China. The long mean time between failures (MTBF) of 92.1 years indicates reliability under typical operating conditions.
