The SWITCH SFN 4TX/FX is designed for industrial applications, equipped with 4 TP RJ45 ports and 1 FO port that supports a maximum transmission speed of 100 Mbps in full duplex mode. This device features automatic detection of data transmission speeds of either 10 or 100 Mbps through its RJ45 interfaces, along with an autocrossing function for enhanced connectivity.
Constructed with an aluminum housing, it is suitable for DIN rail mounting and complies with the IEC 61140 protection class III standards. The switch operates within a temperature range of 0 °C to 60 °C and supports a supply voltage of 24 V DC with an acceptable range between 9 V DC and 32 V DC. In terms of connectivity, it utilizes a multi-mode fiberglass transmission medium with an SC connector, capable of covering distances up to 2000 m.
For diagnostics, the device includes signal LEDs to indicate data reception and link status, and features local diagnostics via a green LED for supply voltage monitoring. It adheres to IEEE 802.3 standards and employs a store-and-forward switching mode, ensuring reliable operation in demanding environments.
