Product Description

This D-SUB bus connector features a 9-pin configuration with a PG-D-SUB socket, specifically assigned to pins 3, 5, 6, and 8. It includes two 35° cable entries designed for M12 (B-coded) connections, facilitating integration within PROFIBUS DP systems operating at speeds of up to 12 Mbps. The connector also accommodates a separate M12 termination resistor for enhanced signal integrity.

The product is constructed from durable polyamide housing and is rated for a nominal voltage of 5 V and a nominal current of 100 mA. The connector is designed for industrial use, adhering to the SN 29500 standard with a Mean Time To Failure (MTTF) of approximately 6706 years under standard operating conditions. Its compact dimensions—16 mm in width, 46 mm in height, and 79 mm in length—allow for efficient space utilization in control environments.

Operating effectively in a temperature range from -30 °C to 80 °C and with an ambient humidity tolerance of 10% to 95% (non-condensing), this device is suitable for various industrial applications. The connector also meets stringent vibration and shock resistance standards, withstanding operational vibrations of 5g across a frequency range of 10 to 150 Hz and shocks of up to 15g.
