Product Description

The D-SUB bus connector features a 9-position socket with pin assignments of 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, and 9. It is designed with two 90° cable entries for M12 connections, adhering to A-coding standards. This connector is suitable for use in CAN and CANopen® bus systems, and includes a separate M12 terminator for the termination resistor. The long version of this connector is also compatible with S7 systems.

Constructed from durable polyamide, this connector withstands a wide range of operating conditions, with an ambient temperature range from -30 °C to 80 °C. It is rated for a nominal voltage of 5 V and a current of 100 mA. With a degree of protection of IP40, it is suitable for industrial applications where reliability and durability are critical.

Notably, the connector has a vibration resistance rating of 5g across a frequency range of 10 to 150 Hz for 2.5 hours in all XYZ directions, and can endure shocks of 15g over an 11 ms period. The device's expected mean time to failure (MTTF) is 6706 years under standard operating conditions.
