The D-SUB bus connector is designed with a 9-position pin and PG-D-SUB socket, featuring pin assignments of 3, 5, 6, and 8. It is equipped with two 90° cable entries utilizing M12 (B-coded) connectors. This connector facilitates a bus system based on PROFIBUS DP, allowing data transmission rates of up to 12 Mbps. A termination resistor is incorporated via a separate M12 terminator, ensuring reliable communication.
