The Mounting Base Housing ME 35 UTG/FE KMGY is constructed for DIN rail applications, featuring a lower housing part equipped with a metal foot catch and two FE contacts. With a tall design devoid of ventilation openings, it measures 35.2 mm in width, 99 mm in height, and 107.3 mm in depth, accommodating specific installation requirements.

This unit is made of PA material and is light grey (RAL 7035) in color. It operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -40 °C to 105 °C, depending on power dissipation, and can withstand a maximum power dissipation of 3.7 W. The housing is designed to meet the specifications outlined in IEC 60529 and is rated with a flammability of V0 according to UL 94.

For assembly, the housing requires a cover to complete the module, as it is categorized as a lower housing part without vents. The depth from the top edge of the DIN rail is 100.7 mm, and the unit includes two PCB holders for optional latching by PCB stop with a thickness range of 1.4 mm to 1.8 mm. Additionally, it has a maximum IP code of IP20, indicating its level of protection against solid foreign objects.
