The Pilz PSS DI2O T Output Module is a versatile and failsafe digital input/output module designed for high-demand safety applications. It features 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs with a maximum output current of 2A. The module is equipped with galvanic isolation to ensure a high level of noise suppression and integral protection circuits for enhanced reliability.

This module is compliant with EN IEC 61508, SIL 3 and EN 954-1 standards, making it suitable for applications up to Category 3 without additional test pulses. For Category 4 applications, test pulses are required. The PSS DI2O T is designed for use in modular safety systems, providing robust performance and easy integration.

The module supports connection of single-channel and dual-channel safety-related input devices, with or without test pulses. Outputs can be used to generate test pulses, enabling monitoring of external wiring for shorts across input contacts and external power sources. The status of inputs and outputs can be processed in bits, bytes, or words, with status LEDs for easy monitoring.

Installation is straightforward with AWG 12 screw connectors, and the module's address is determined by its slot number on the module rack. The PSS DI2O T is compatible with PSS 3000 and PSS 3100 systems, supported from specific CPU versions.
