The Schmersal AZ 17-02ZRK Safety Switch is designed for reliable operation in industrial environments. Featuring a thermoplastic enclosure and double insulation, this switch ensures durability and safety. Its compact dimensions (30 mm x 60 mm x 30 mm) and universal coding make it versatile for various applications, including sliding, removable, and hinged safety guards.

With 8 actuating planes and a high level of contact reliability, the AZ 17-02ZRK is insensitive to soiling, ensuring consistent performance even in challenging conditions. The switch operates electromechanically and includes two normally-closed (NC) contacts with a positive break function, enhancing safety by ensuring the circuit is broken when the guard is opened.

The switch complies with EN ISO 13849-1, EN ISO 14119, and EN IEC 60947-5-1 standards, providing assurance of its safety and reliability. It also features an increased latching force of 30 N, ensuring secure engagement.
