The 8501RS miniature plug-in relay is engineered for control circuit logic applications. Designed for easy integration, it plugs directly into a compatible relay socket, facilitating straightforward replacement. Specifically, this relay is compatible with the 8501NR42 and 8501NR42B relay sockets.

Featuring a DPDT contact arrangement, the relay includes two normally open (NO) and two normally closed (NC) contacts. It supports a resistive load of 15 amperes at both 120 VAC and 277 VAC, alongside a 28 VDC rating. Additionally, it offers a 1/2 HP capacity at 120 VAC and 1 HP at 277 VAC, with a B300 inductive rating. A variety of coil voltages are available upon request; however, this specific relay is equipped with a nonreplaceable coil rated at 120 VAC. Notably, it does not include a green LED indicator.

The 8501RS relays are UL listed for use with Square D relay sockets, UL component recognized, and CSA certified, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
