The Schneider Electric iC60N is a high-performance miniature circuit breaker (MCB) designed for low voltage applications. This 1P circuit breaker features a 10A rated current and a C tripping curve, providing effective protection against short circuits and overload currents. It is compliant with both EN/IEC 60898-1 and EN/IEC 60947-2 standards, making it suitable for both industrial and residential applications.
The iC60N MCB boasts a rated short circuit breaking capacity of up to 10kA at 220-240VAC and 6000A at 230VAC. It incorporates the unique VisiTrip system, which significantly reduces intervention time by clearly indicating the faulty circuit. Additionally, the VisiSafe system ensures the physical opening of the contacts, allowing for safe downstream maintenance.
This circuit breaker is designed for durability, with an electrical endurance of up to 10,000 cycles and a mechanical endurance of up to 20,000 cycles. It features a fast-closing mechanism independent of manual operation, enhancing its service life. The iC60N can be easily mounted on a DIN rail and is compatible with various auxiliaries, remote monitoring, and residual current devices (Vigi).
The product's compact design, with dimensions of 18mm width, 85mm height, and 78.5mm depth, and a weight of 0.215kg, makes it ideal for space-constrained installations.
