The Altistart 22 soft starter is capable of driving 3-phase asynchronous motors, either in a supply line or delta configuration. It supports a voltage range of 230V to 440V and is rated for a maximum power output of 250 kW (400V to 440V when connected in supply line) and up to 400 kW in delta connection. With a starter rating of 480A, it is suitable for applications involving centrifugal pumps, piston pumps, fans, and material handling equipment.

This unit features a compact design, facilitating installation in various machine frames. An integrated bypass function minimizes noise and reduces heat dissipation. Compatibility with SoMove software allows for straightforward configuration management, ensuring rapid installation of replacement units. The soft starter enhances operational smoothness, mitigating mechanical stresses and prolonging equipment lifespan. It also features a pollution degree rating of level 2 per IEC 60664-1 and is designed for environments with humidity levels of 0-95% without condensation. This soft starter is suitable for altitude conditions up to 3280.84 ft (1000 m) without derating, with additional derating applicable for higher altitudes.
