The Altivar Machine ATV320 variable speed drive is an ideal solution for feeding single-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors. Its compact design allows for vertical stacking inside machine frames, making it a space-saving option. This robust drive operates at a rated power of up to 1.1kW / 1.5hp and can handle voltages ranging from 200V to 240V AC.

The ATV320 is designed with IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards, enabling it to operate in harsh environmental conditions. For instance, it can function at ambient temperatures up to 60°C without the need for additional cooling. This drive incorporates functions suitable for a variety of applications, including torque and speed accuracy at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with flux vector control without sensors, and an extended frequency range for high-speed motors.

The ATV320 also supports parallel connection of motors and special drives using the voltage/frequency ratio and static speed accuracy and energy saving for open-loop synchronous motors. The drive software includes 5 safety functions that help machines meet safety requirements, whether or not they are used in conjunction with a Preventa safety module. These safety functions can be configured using SoMove software.
