The Altivar Machine ATV320 variable speed drive is a versatile solution designed to power 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors. Its compact design allows for vertical stacking within machine frames, making it suitable for a wide range of applications including packaging, material handling, textile, material working, mechanical actuators, and hoisting. Operating at a rated power of up to 2.2kW / 3hp and a voltage range from 380V to 500V AC, this drive ensures high performance and reliability.

Engineered to withstand harsh environmental conditions, the ATV320 features IEC 60721-3-3 class 3C3 coated printed circuit boards for extended machine availability, even at ambient temperatures up to 60°C without additional cooling. The drive offers precise torque and speed control at very low speeds, high dynamic performance with flux vector control without sensors, and an extended frequency range for high-speed motors. It supports parallel motor connections and energy-saving operations for open-loop synchronous motors.

The integrated software includes five configurable safety functions, ensuring compliance with safety standards whether used alone or with a Preventa safety module. Configuration is streamlined through the SoMove software. Designed for Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs), the ATV320 conforms to international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 for immunity and EMC emissions. It holds certifications including CE, UL, CSA, NOM, EAC, and RCM.
