Lifecycle Status:
The Altivar Machine ATV340 is a robust variable speed drive capable of feeding 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous motors in open and closed loop control. This drive, sized for heavy duty applications, delivers a rated power of up to 11kW / 15hp at a voltage range from 380V to 480V AC.
The ATV340 is designed to withstand harsh conditions such as vibration, shock, and non-conductive dust. It offers high temperature resistance up to 60 °C. The drive incorporates Modbus serial line communication protocols as standard.
With dimensions of 180mm wide, 385mm high, and 249mm deep, and weighing 9.5kg, the ATV340 is suitable for a variety of applications including packaging, material handling, material working, and hoisting. It complies with international standards IEC/EN 61800-5-1 and IEC/EN 61800-3 (immunity and conducted and radiated EMC emissions), IEC 60721-3, IEC 61508, IEC 13849-1. It is also CE, UL, CSA, and TÜV certified.
The ATV340 can be equipped with various accessories such as encoder interface modules, I/O expansion modules, communication modules, braking resistors, line chokes, and additional EMC filters. It is designed to be mounted in a vertical position on a panel, thanks to 4 fixing holes.
The Altivar Machine ATV340 is fully integrated into Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure Machine through DTM. It can be configured, controlled, and diagnosed directly in SoMachine and SoMove software using the same software brick (DTM).
