Product Description
The Modicon M580 Ethernet Communication Module with OPC UA Server is a part of the Modicon M580 range, offering Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This module provides complete Ethernet transparency when connected to the Ethernet backplane. It supports OPC UA V1.03 and K3/C3, K3/C2 standards, offering high-performance OPC UA capabilities.
The module weighs 0.383kg and can be installed either on an Ethernet or a X-bus rack. It is delivered in 1 packing unit and can be installed in any X80 Ethernet backplane slot in the head rack of a Modicon M580 ePAC system.
The Modicon X80 platform consists of compatible modules common to both Modicon M580 and M340 automation platforms, reducing maintenance and training costs with same spare parts in stock and unique training for various Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC).
