Product Description

The Schneider Electric Modicon X80 Discrete Input Module is designed to enhance the performance and reliability of your automation systems. With 32 isolated discrete inputs, this module operates on a 24 V DC positive logic, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. It is compatible with 2-wire and 3-wire proximity sensors conforming to IEC 60947-5-2 and IEC 61131-2 Type 1 standards, ensuring seamless integration and compliance.

This module features a robust design with IP20 protection, making it suitable for various industrial environments. The input impedance of 9600 Ohm and insulation resistance greater than 10 MOhm at 500 V DC ensure reliable operation. The module is equipped with multiple status LEDs for easy diagnostics, including module operating (RUN), channel diagnostic, module error (ERR), and module I/O status.

With a typical response time of 4 ms and a maximum response time of 7 ms, the Modicon X80 Discrete Input Module provides fast and accurate input processing. It also includes protection features such as reverse polarity protection and external fuse protection for each group of channels. The module's high MTBF reliability of 905,000 hours ensures long-term performance and reduced maintenance costs.
