The Schneider Electric LR3D08 is a TeSys LRD series thermal overload relay designed for integration with TeSys D contactors. This device provides reliable motor protection for applications involving loads up to 1.1-1.5kW at 400V, characterized by its adjustable thermal range of 2.5 to 4A and a tripping class rating of 10A, suitable for both balanced and unbalanced load scenarios. The LR3D08 facilitates direct mounting onto the bottom terminals of TeSys contactors like the LC1D09-D38, enabling the creation of compact starter solutions. Its design incorporates user-friendly manual test and reset buttons, alongside an automatic reset function for simplified operation. Furthermore, it includes a trip auxiliary contact and flag indicator to provide clear operational status. The relay is globally certified, adhering to multiple standards including IEC, UL, CSA, CCC, EAC, and Marine certifications. It also meets Green Premium compliance requirements (RoHs/Reach). The bimetallic sensing element provides temperature-compensated accuracy in overload detection. Manual control features include test & reset buttons with a selector switch for manual or automatic reset functionality. Trip signaling is achieved through 1NO+1NC auxiliary contacts and a visible trip flag indicator. The relay can be further enhanced by utilizing compatible terminal blocks (LAD7B, LAD96) and remote control devices (LAD703, LA7D03).
