The digital module ANSI 32P - Reverse active power enhances the functionality of Micrologic X trip units utilized in MasterPact MTZ circuit breakers. This module allows for customization of the circuit breaker, enabling it to trip when negative active power exceeds predefined settings. It requires a 24 V DC external power supply for the Micrologic X control unit and is compatible with firmware versions greater than or equal to V002.000.xxx, necessitating an upgrade for earlier versions.
Utilizing the EcoStruxure Power Commission software and a USB connection, this module can be uploaded without disrupting power supply. It is particularly beneficial for monitoring synchronous power generators, as it facilitates tripping when the generator functions as a synchronous motor, effectively managing active power exchange within an electrical network.
