Lifecycle Status:
This Ethernet Interface Module (EIFE) is an advanced solution designed specifically for MasterPact MTZ drawout circuit breakers. It offers a single Ethernet connection, delivering all data from the MasterPact MTZ control unit. The module monitors the three positions of the circuit breaker when installed in its chassis: IN, OUT, and TEST. The data transmission speed is 10/100 Mbps, facilitating a straightforward daisy chain connection.
To connect to the EIFE interface, a ULP communication port must be installed on the MasterPact MTZ chassis. The EIFE is mounted on the DIN rail of the MasterPact MTZ chassis and connected to the ULP port via an ULP cable (not supplied). Power for the EIFE is provided by the ULP port through the ULP cable.
The module features two RJ45 sockets for connecting to the Ethernet network. It is fully integrated into the EcoStruxure Power architecture and Ethernet-ready smart panels. The EIFE firmware can be updated using the EcoStruxure Power Commission software.
