The TeSys H Hybrid Direct Safety Starter is a compact solution designed for the control and protection of 3-phase motors, offering a power rating of up to 0.75kW at 400V (1HP at 480V). This starter utilizes hybrid technology to achieve ultra compactness with a width of only 22.5mm, while also ensuring an extended electrical durability of up to 30 million cycles.
The starter provides control for one direction of rotation and features an adjustable motor current ranging from 0.18A to 2.4A. It comes with class 10A thermal overload protection, auto/manual/remote reset capability, phase loss and phase unbalanced protection, as well as stall and jam motor protection.
The starter is supplied with a 24V DC power source and offers logic inputs for ON/OFF motor running and remote reset after thermal tripping. It also includes a 1C/O contact relay for fault indication and an LED status on the front face to indicate tripping and motor running.
The starter is equipped with an integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) function, certified at SIL3 level according to IEC61508-1 and PLe level according to ISO13849-1. This makes it suitable for integration into safety chain applications. The starter can be mounted on a DIN rail, with screw terminals for control and power connections. It is designed for ambient temperatures ranging from -25°C to 70°C without derating.
The TeSys H Hybrid Direct Safety Starter is multi-standard certified (IEC, UL, CCC) and complies with Green Premium standards (RoHS/REACh).
