The Multi9 C60N is designed as a low voltage miniature circuit breaker (MCB) fulfilling the requirements of EN/IEC 60947-2. It features two protected poles, a rated current of 40A, and operates with a C curve for tripping. The device is capable of handling a short circuit breaking capacity of up to 10kA at 415VAC, thus ensuring robust protection against electrical faults.
This MCB is compliant with both industrial (EN/IEC 60898-1) and residential standards (EN/IEC 60947-2), making it suitable for a wide range of applications. It safeguards against short circuits, earth leakage, and overloads, thereby protecting both personnel and equipment. The product's fast closing mechanism and high-performance limitation contribute to a prolonged service life.
With an electrical endurance of up to 10,000 cycles and a mechanical endurance rating of 20,000 cycles, the device is reliable for heavy-duty applications. The operational voltage ranges from 240VAC to 415VAC, while the rated insulation voltage is 500VAC, and it can withstand an impulse voltage of 6kV. The MCB can be mounted on a DIN rail and occupies 4 pitches of 9mm, with dimensions of 36mm in width, 81mm in height, and 72mm in depth. It has an IP20 protection rating as per IEC/EN 60529, ensuring terminal protection against solid objects greater than 12.5mm.
