The PanelSeT S3DEX enclosure, with dimensions of 400mm in height, 300mm in width, and 200mm in depth, is specifically designed for applications in potentially explosive atmospheres, complying with the ATEX directive 94/9/EC and marked as II 2 GD Ex e IIC Gb Ex tb IIIC Db. This enclosure features a solid door equipped with a double-bar lock and hinges that allow it to open up to 120°, with the ability to reverse the opening side. The door is removable for maintenance access.

Constructed from steel, the enclosure is finished in RAL 7035 grey using an epoxy-polyester powder coating, ensuring durability in harsh conditions. It also meets stringent protection standards with an IP66 rating as per IEC 60529 and an IK10 rating according to IEC 62262, making it resistant to dust and water ingress as well as mechanical impacts.

With a net weight of 5.76kg, the design includes a gutter-shaped front rail with a double sheet thickness and a single-piece body, enhancing structural integrity. Accessibility for operation is from the front, and the enclosure does not include a gland plate or mounting plate, making it suitable for wall mounting applications.
