Designed as part of the Modicon STB range, this internal Bus Extension System (BOS) kit provides a solution for distributed I/O on various networks and fieldbus architectures. The unit incorporates a 2-pin removable connector for power supply and FireWire interface functionality. Operating on a rated supply voltage of 24V DC with an input current of 400mA, the module is housed in an IP20-rated enclosure suitable for deployment within packaging, bottling, assembly lines, distribution systems, textile manufacturing, printing operations, and semiconductor fabrication facilities. The kit's compatibility extends to standard STB modules. Components included are: STBXTS1120 (2-terminal screw type connector), STBXBA2300 (size 2 base), STBXTS2120 (2-terminal spring clamp connector), and the core STBXBE1300 BOS module.
