SmartX sensors are a family of living space sensors for use with SmartX IP controllers that use the EcoStruxure Building Operation software user interface. These sensors use an RJ-45 sensor bus that provides communication and power from the SmartX IP controller. SmartX living space sensors are modular and are ordered in two parts: the sensor base and the cover. Four SmartX communicating sensor base models are available that can be paired with any one of the SmartX modular covers. The SXWSC2PSELXW touchscreen cover displays current time, temperature, humidity percentage (if equipped), CO2 ppm (if equipped), as well as heating, cooling and Eco mode status. Several parameters are adjustable using the touchscreen, from temperature: setpoint, override, temperature scale, fan speed, heating mode, cooling mode. To building environment: blinds open/closed/adjust and blind angle. Setpoint, override, display timeout and display lockout parameters are configured using EcoStruxure Building Operation software. The Optimum White housing has a glass front panel with two off screen buttons for light control and an upgraded look and feel and is a great option for new construction and retrofit projects.
