The Modicon M221 is an advanced logic controller from the Modicon range, specifically designed for hardwired architectures. This device provides a total of 8 discrete inputs and 8 relay ethernet spring outputs with a 10bit input resolution, normally opened relay output.

The Modicon M221 is powered by a rated supply voltage of 24V DC, offering an output voltage range from 5V to 125V DC and 5V to 250V AC. It has an output current capacity of 2A with sink or source input logic.

Installation is minimal, and the device offers great versatility. Integrated connections include a USB port with a mini B USB 2.0 connector, non-isolated serial link serial 1 with an RJ45 connector, RS232/RS485 interface, and Ethernet with an RJ45 connector.

The Modicon M221 controller features a network frequency of 50/60Hz, 256KB for internal variables RAM, user application and data RAM. It also comes with a built-in flash memory of 256KB and an SD card memory capacity of 2GB.

This product is IP20 rated and has dimensions of 70mm (Width) x 70mm (Depth) x 90mm (Height), weighing 0.264kg. It is certified by CE, IACS E10, RCM, ABS, LR, DNV-GL, CSA, EAC and CULus.

The Modicon M221 adheres to EN/IEC 60664-1, EN/IEC 61131-2, and EN/IEC 61010-2-201 standards. It supports DIN rail mount, ensuring benchmark performance while increasing profitability through intuitive machine programming with SoMachine Basic, ready-to-use applications, and function blocks.
