The Modicon M258 Logic Controller is a high-performance solution designed for machine builders. It offers 42 I/O, 24V DC power supply, and embeds 5 communication ports including Ethernet, CANopen, RS232/RS485 serial link, USB mini-B programming port, and USB type A program transfer port. The controller also includes 2 free slots PCI and supports data logging, WebServer, and FTP server. It has a removable terminal block with locking lever for easy I/O module installation and a display block to show the I/O states. With a performant CPU (22ns/inst), it provides advanced features and is suitable for general machine control, conveying, and packaging applications.

The Modicon M258 Logic Controller is CE, GOST-R CSA, C-Tick, and CULus certified. It meets IEC 61131-2, CSA C22.2 No 213, CSA C22.2 No 142, and UL 508 standards. Its dimensions are 262.5mm (Width) x 85mm (Depth) x 99mm (Height), weighing 0.8kg. It supports 128MB flash and 64MB internal RAM memory. The controller is equipped with a locking lever for mounting/dismounting on symmetrical DIN rail, making it compact and totally expandable.
