The Modicon M221 Serial Line Cartridge is an integral part of the Modicon M221 range, designed to enhance hardwired architectures.
This cartridge serves as an option for the Modicon M221C logic controller. It provides a non-isolated serial link type, specifically Modbus master - slave, for conveying application data.
The installation process is straightforward and requires minimal effort. The versatility of this product is significant, allowing configuration with Modbus RTU, Modbus ASCII or ASCII protocols.
The cartridge features a non-removable screw terminal for electrical connection. Its dimensions are 35mm (Width) x 15mm (Depth) x 41mm (Height), and it weighs a mere 0.015kg.
