Schneider Electric VCDN12

The VCDN12 is a three-pole switch disconnector from the TeSys Vario range, specifically engineered for both main and emergency stop switching in motor applications rated up to 4kW at 400V AC-23. This device features a VZ12 switch body coupled with a padlockable operator in red and yellow, facilitating easy installation on enclosure doors with a single fixing point.

With an IP65 rating, this switch disconnector is suitable for demanding environments, providing protection against dust and water ingress. It operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -20 to 50 °C and is designed to withstand mechanical stress, capable of enduring vibrations up to 5 gn and shocks of 15 gn.

Additionally, the VCDN12 meets multiple international standards including IEC, UL, and CSA, ensuring versatility and compliance for global applications. The device supports a rated operational voltage of 690V AC and allows for DC operation up to 250V, depending on the contact configuration. The switch can accommodate up to two add-on poles for expanded functionality.
