This EMC input filter functions as an additional component for variable speed drives in the Altivar series and servo drives within the Lexium series. With a rated current of 47 A, it is engineered to reduce conducted emissions on the line supply, ensuring compliance with the stringent requirements of IEC/EN 61800-3 categories C1 and C2. This capability also facilitates an increased maximum motor cable length for category C3 applications.
Weighing 3.15 kg, the filter is rated with an IP20 protection index and is specifically designed for use in TN and TT type systems. The installation can be performed beside or beneath the drive, with the power supply connected directly through the filter output cable.
In terms of operational parameters, the filter operates effectively within an ambient temperature range of -10 to 50 °C. Its construction allows it to withstand shock resistance up to 15 g for 11 ms and vibration resistance of 1 g from 13 to 150 Hz. Storage temperatures can range from -25 to 70 °C, and it can function at altitudes up to 3280.84 ft (1000 m) without current derating.
