The Modicon MCM memory card is specifically designed to save safety PLC configuration data, enabling an efficient transfer to a new PLC without requiring a PC. With a memory capacity of 512 MB, it supports a swift restart of the safety controller following an incident, thus minimizing downtime.

Measuring 18mm in depth, 21.5mm in height, and 2mm in width, this card weighs 0.004 kg. It is compatible with both the expansion modules and the CPU of the Modicon MCM safety controllers. The installation occurs in the designated slot on the rear panel of the controller.

This memory card is integral to the Modicon MCM modular safety controller system, which adheres to stringent safety standards certified by TüV SÜD, including Category 4, PL e per EN/ISO 13849-1 and SILCL 3 per IEC/EN 61508 and IEC/EN 60261. The system offers flexibility and scalability, accommodating from 8 inputs and 2 dual/4 single channel outputs to a maximum of 128 inputs and 16 dual/32 single channel outputs, along with up to 32 or 48 diagnostic status outputs.
