The XS4 M12 inductive proximity sensor is engineered for the non-contact detection of metallic objects, facilitating high-speed operation without wear, making it suitable for fragile or freshly painted surfaces. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm, this cylindrical sensor has a diameter of 12mm and is not flush mountable, with a threaded length of 27mm.

Constructed from durable PPS material, it is fully encapsulated and offers IP67 protection, ensuring excellent resistance to harsh industrial environments. Its electrical specifications include a three-wire design with a supply voltage range of 12 to 24 VDC and a PNP discrete output with a maximum switching capacity of 200 mA DC. The sensor features a response time of 0.1 ms and a maximum switching frequency of 5000 Hz, enhancing operational efficiency.

Incorporating a male M12 connector, this sensor is certified by ECOLAB and meets multiple standards including UL and CSA. It is designed to operate effectively within an ambient temperature range of -25 to 70 °C and can be stored from -40 to 85 °C. The product is also compliant with various environmental regulations, ensuring it is free from harmful substances.
