The traction contactor features an AC-3 rating of 16 A and is capable of handling a power output of 7.5 kW at 400 V. It is designed for a control voltage range from 24 to 34 V DC, operating within 0.7 to 1.25 times the rated control voltage (Us), equipped with an integrated varistor.
With a configuration that includes one normally closed (NC) main contact and three making contacts, this device supports spring-type terminals, making it suitable for PLC outputs. Despite not being intended for series installation, it can efficiently manage power loss per pole of 2.2 watts under load conditions and a static power loss of 0.7 watts.
Notably, the rated operational power for AC-1 at 400 V is 13 kW, while it supports a rated operating current of 22 A for AC-1 and 16 A for AC-3 applications. This contactor is classified under Size S00 and is not suitable for mounting on standard rails.
