The 3VA51 motor circuit protector operates within a low voltage framework, specifically designed for thermal-magnetic trip applications. It is rated for 3 amperes and offers a 3-pole configuration with a breaking capacity of 65kA at 480V, ensuring reliable short-circuit protection.
Constructed without lugs, this unit measures 3 x 5.5 x 3.7 inches. It features an adjustable thermal-magnetic trip unit (TM120M) that operates without overload protection and allows for an adjustment range of 3 to 7 times the rated current. The device is suitable for DIN rail mounting, enhancing its installation flexibility.
Although it does not integrate an earth fault protection or an under voltage release mechanism, it remains a complete device with a protection unit, ensuring effective motor starter protection.
