Product Description
The SIMATIC HMI KTP1200 Basic is a robust and versatile HMI panel designed for industrial applications. Featuring a 12" TFT widescreen display with LED backlighting, it supports 65536 colors, providing clear and vibrant visuals. The panel offers both key and touch operation, making it adaptable to various user preferences and operational environments.
Equipped with a PROFINET interface, the KTP1200 Basic ensures seamless integration into industrial networks. It is configurable from WinCC Basic V13/STEP 7 Basic V13, allowing for easy setup and customization. The device also includes open-source software, provided free of charge on the enclosed CD.
The HMI panel is designed for vertical mounting but can also be installed in portrait or landscape formats, with a maximum permissible angle of inclination of 35° without external ventilation. It operates on a 24V DC supply voltage, with a permissible range from 19.2V to 28.8V.
Key features include a hardware real-time clock with a backup duration of typically 6 weeks, an analog-resistive touch screen, and a variety of interfaces including one industrial Ethernet and one USB interface. The panel supports multiple Ethernet protocols such as TCP/IP, DHCP, DCP, and LLDP, ensuring reliable communication and data exchange.
