The IWLAN access point SCALANCE W778-1 M12 EEC includes a single radio and two N-CON antenna ports, facilitating robust wireless communication. It operates over the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands, achieving a gross data rate of up to 300 Mbit/s while supporting a maximum of 28 users.
Equipped with an integrated 2-port switch that supports Power over Ethernet (PoE), this model features redundant 24 V DC power supply capabilities. Its M12 A-coded design is rated IP65, allowing it to function effectively in harsh environments with temperatures ranging from -30 °C to 70 °C.
Additional functionalities include WPA2/802.11i/e security standards, conformal coating compliant with EN 50155 and EN 45545, and the ability to bridge connections. The device is suitable for wall mounting and includes manuals in both English and German on a CD-ROM, along with M12 sealing caps for operation outside the USA and Israel. CERT ID: MSN65-W1-M12-E2.
