The IWLAN Access Point W7861 RJ45 is designed for outdoor use outside of the USA, featuring a single radio and three R-SMA antenna ports. It supports IEEE 802.11 standards, specifically 802.11a/b/g/h/n, enabling operation over both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequencies. The device achieves a maximum data transmission rate of 450 Mbps per radio, ensuring robust wireless connectivity. The access point includes one RJ45 port with a maximum data rate of 1 Gbps, compatible with Power over Ethernet (PoE) and operates on a redundant 24 V DC supply.
This access point is built to withstand harsh environments, with an IP65 protection rating allowing operation in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +60°C. It features a DSSS and OFDM technology for enhanced signal quality and supports WPA2/802.11i/e for secure wireless communications. The device also includes features such as bridge and repeater functions, making it versatile for various networking applications.
Included in the delivery are manuals in German and English, available on a CD-ROM, along with a terminal block. Note that national approvals should be observed for its operation.
